Mother Nature is angry

At some point, SHE is angry. With whatever reasons, SHE send tyhoons to Philipines, earthquake to Indonesia, Tsunami to Samoa.

I was with tears to see young children as young as infants suffering. To think that they have to go through so much with their parents, homeless with future uncertain really pains my heart.

Humans and animals suffer the same fate when disaster strike. People must be thinking, "Who cares for the animals". But hey!!! All are breathing the same air and live together. Who wouldn't care??

I care for both. As to now, I am appealing all who read my blog to help.

As I am collecting old stuffs for funds raising to the strays sterilisation, All old stuffs I collected, 80% will be donated out to disaster strike countries, and any monetary donations for the stray sterilisation, will be 90% donated out as well.

I believe right now, what is most important is to save lives Humans and animals as well.

Let us all do a part for the victims, and all pray together for a better world for both.

With so many new cases of people abandon and abuse, it ponders me whether the authorities can take any actions like longer jail terms. Singapore is a small country. Although there are many animal lovers out there, still a majority are not so animal lovers.

Their mind could be, who cares for the four legged when they care most about other things.

Well, I still call out to the animal lovers and stray rescuers, continue your job and dont stop loving. Your job that you are doing for the animals are the greatest contribution the animals can ever received from you.

A very bad and sad news.

I have been reading the newspaper for the past few days. Am very disappointed and sad to know that there are people who are really heartless to dump their pet dogs just because they are old and sick.

The latest news is that some kind people actually found 3 at the same time in a carpark all with bad skin conditions.

Kudos to those kind hearted who actually took the effort to sent them to the vet and later in a shelter for fostering.

All these abandonment of animals are actions that i cannot tolerated at all. I am now trying to make use of my confinement period of 4 months to think of ways to work with organisations to prevent such issues.

I would like to thank all who personnaly contribute the last funds raising some time back. Those who donated their old stuffs, like bags, clothes, toys, books, time and efforts. A big big thank you to all of you.

It really helps us alot during that time of crisis for the animals. However recently, we has a bunch of strays mongrels waiting for sterilisations, food and fostering care.

Updates on the contributions:

1) My good friend, Juliana contributed $150 for a female mongrel's sterilisation and a packet of 18Kg of dog food of her prefered brand

2) Mr. P. Lim contributed $100 for a male sterilisation fees and a packet of 25kg of rice to feed the strays

3) Mr. Siva contributed 48 cans of dog canned food for all the strays.

4) Miss Ashley and Mr. Norris as foster parents.

I would like to thank them once again for their big heart and contributions. However, there are still a need for sterilisation cost and fostering care for a few more mongrels.Please keep them in prayers and do not stop your love towards them.

Updates

Hi friends, it's been a long time since my last updates. Been resting at home due to a difficult pregnancy. Feeling guilty of leaving all my resuce works to my friends. but nonetheless, I have been helping out in sourcing for dog food and resources for the strays sterilisation programs.

Though we see lesser puppies in our areas, but am very angry that people abandon their pet dogs in our rescue area knowing that we will be able to feed them as well.

Yes we will, but abandon pet dogs are not to be treated this way. We are trying very hard in fostering and re homing. So our resources are limited.

I hope my constant appealing of dog food and sterilisations cost will not be turned down.

Now my heart still goes to the dogs even when I am at home resting. I pray hard for God to take care of them and protect them from big heave vehicles. Have not been seeing them for a while. Will keep all updated on their progress.

For the past 2 months have been busy with some work with the animals. Seen alot of strays puppies getting lesser in my vicinity, which is a good sign. At least no dangers will befall on them.

Latest updates for BiBi

I hope some of you have read about BiBi's story. Recently Vi update me on his conditions. I am shocked and worried. For those Chrisitian friends, let pray for s full recovery for BiBi. As I read the updates, my tears cant stop rolling down. My lips quivered and I cant help my feelings. I hope al kind hearted souls like Vi can help her in her journey to make BiBi feel better.

"For pet hotel, I've contacted some to check, but injecting of insulin twice daily is pretty hard for them.

Anyway, some update which is pretty upsetting:

On Friday mid-night after I have updated on BiBi's coming curve test, he seemed wobbling when he walks and lethargic. He trembled and fits-like, but when we called him, he responsed by looking at me and moving his head. Just the limbs were paddling. I called ARVC for advised and rubbed honey on his gum a few time hoping to get his glucose level up. After we confirmed with the nurse that we would be bringing him down and managed to leash him up, he walked like normal again. We brought him down the block and after awhile he seemed normal and we called back to cancel the emergency. And Dr Loon advised to bring BiBi down for his glucose curve test on Saturday instead of Sunday.

On Saturday, we brought him to ARVC for curve test and as Dr Loon is not in, Dr Koa in charge of BiBi for the day. In the evening, we were told by Dr Koa that the curve showed is "strange" as quoted by her, as the curve went up and down and up and down. And the lowest point of the glucose level is below the normal range. She told us to give 8 units of insulin instead of 9 units. Monitor and bring him back 2 weeks later for another curve test. I inquired about the fits and wobbleness, and were advised to rub honey on his gum.

Left the clinic around 9pm and reached home around 9:30pm. BiBi started to wobble when he walked. I rubbed honey on his gums, and again at 9:45pm. After I'm back from dinner at 10:30pm, he still wobbles. I measured the glucose level in his urine but there is none. I fed him 35g of food (around 1/4 of his normal portion), and continue to rub honey and give honey water. I called ARVC and told them what I have fed and was told to monitor till 11:30pm. I called them again at 11:30pm and BiBi is lethargic and response slow to my calling. I was told to monitor him further and bring him in the next morning. I have also tried to check on the amount of insulin to be giving in the next injection.

I ran a search in the internet for Hypoglycemia and take a look at all the symptoms.

By 12+pm, I decided to take a rest (both me and BiBi) and bring him to ARVC the next morning. Suddenly, he got a seizures or fits, and foams coming out of his mouth. I tried to use my blanket to wrap around him and hoping to bring him down while calling ARVC. BiBi's fits lasted for a couple of mins, I am not sure exactly how long but seems like a year for me who's terrified and hopeless at the situation. After awhile, the fits stopped and he sat there staring at me and turned aggressive. He then walked to a corn of my room, sit there and stared blankly. We tried giving him biscuit, and but he did not respond at all. By then, I managed to get through ARVC, and told the nurse what happened, and informed that I'll be bringing him down as soon as I can leash him up. The nurse informed the vet on duty Dr Koa, who advised us to let BiBi relax and continue to monitor him and bring him in the next morning. She advised us to call again after BiBi is stable and I told her that I would only take at the most 10 mins to reach. I insisted on bringing him asap and told the nurse to get Dr Koa to ARVC, and I told them that seizure and agressive is way past the being symptoms of hypoglycemia from what I have read. But of course, I am in no professional position to diagnose. By then, BiBi 'regained' his conscious and started following him around. I took this chance to feed him another 65g of food, hoping to bring his glucose level up. I informed ARVC again, and we noticed that BiBi still wobbles and he started to bite the bowl instead of eating his food, and he kept knocking against things when he walks. I told them that I'm bring him down to ARVC immediately and please get Dr Koa.

Just when I was hopeless as I have no transport and started calling for cab, a cab that drove past agreed to take us to ARVC. (I have tried calling a pet taxi number which claimed to be 24-hours through an internet search but no response at all)

We waited for awhile for Dr Koa's arrival. Blood glucose was measured and it's lower than what is acceptable. (Despite feeding him twice, rubbed lots and lots of honey and give him honey water) She asked us how long was the fits, and we gave an estimated answer of 5 mins, she responsed: "5 mins, cannot be. The dog would be dead by then." To me, that few mins is like year and I panic and stuff, it's impossible for me to time and give her the exact time. We were told to wait outside while they do some procedure for BiBi.

The next morning, we brought in his food and insulin and had a short update by Dr Loon. He said BiBi would needs to be hospitalized as they need to monitor on his glucose curve and insulin dosage. At that time, he had suggested of giving him 6 units. Also, because of his seizures and hypoglcemia, it's better for him to stablize before discharge.

For both Monday and today, Dr Sham had called me to update me on BiBi's condition and had also done a blood test to confirm that no other problem in the body so that they can focus on his diabetes therapy. Currently BiBi is hospitalized as he needs to be monitor for the dosage of insulin before discharge. I have visited BiBi today and he gets excited when he sees me, and kept knocking at the door trying to get out. As I worried his move would disturb other patients in the ICU, I kept my visit short.

My fund for him is running low after his very first visit to the clinic till now and on his food. And all those flamming and defammation, nuisance calls which caused stress to my own life, makes me started thinking if I should give up. I was unable to attend my grandmother's funeral as I was not able to find a pet hotel for him. And I just had a minor surgery last week which I am still recovering from. I'm drying up and I'll probably have to make a painful decision through this hospitalization and the cost of the emergency consultation on saturday. For those who wish to contribute, you may contribute directly to his medical bills by going to ARVC and contribute directly to BiBi. (As per advise by another fund raising rescuer. So that you can know that the fund is used for this medical and no others. )

On a personal note, I kept thinking if possibility of hypoglycemia could have been deduced on Saturday itself from his glucose curve test, which then BiBi can be given better treatment, eg hospitalization immediately to monitor and dosage for his insulin. And by doing so, can also cut down the cost for the emergency consultation after mid night which costs around 300+. And I wonder after seizure, shouldn't BiBi be brought to the vet's attention immediately instead of the advice of calming him down and let him rest till the next day.

For those who have doubts, you can check with me personally, or vist BiBi. Green light was given by DS_admin some times back for fund raising for BiBi's case. And I have then seeked advise from a forumer who is experience and recommended by the admin. But as I was rather upset and helping in my family as my grandmother was down with stroke, I did not update frequently and starts to raise for BiBi.

Currently he's feeding on Addiction Raw Dehydration Venison. For those who wish to contribute on food, I can also arrange so that your fund would definitely go into his food and no where else by buying the box of food.

I believe this long update post with personal rant would lower BiBi's chance of being fostered/adopted due to his condition. But, I wish let everyone be updated and aware on his current condition. However, this is the early stage of diabetes, hence, we are still going through trial and error for the right dosage. Once all stabilized, it'll be easy to maintain as long as BiBi has a routine life.

I am still trying to cope with the death of my dog who left me a month ago which I have yet got over and with the fostering of BiBi.

I've been wondering, life in general, has anyone really think about? Has anyone ever think about the beautiful nature God created for us is to treasure, to love and not to exploit?

When a close friend sent me a few links to tell me how the world in humans are behaving now,it shocked and troubled me very much. How in the world are we to behave like this? God created living things with love and never did He use exploitation on us. The word 'Test" comes in many forms. He tested us in many ways. But never did we tested on the animals He created.

After seeing all these footages, my heart really cry out to these animals. How much and how far can I go. Sometimes, I wish i can turn back the clock to the stage whereby I am still single and full of means to go and venture into the wildlife to save the animals. Updates on Bibi

I have some updates on BIBI conditions from the rescuer. Please I urge all to help out Vivinne all you can and BiBi.

"I visited BiBi yesterday evening. According to the vet (Dr Loon), his glucose level has went down to normal after the putting him on a fast action insulin but that's not a very good sign, as going down to as low as normal, means it can even go below that. He switched him to the normal insulin and his glucose level slightly went up at the last measured in the evening. He is eating and stopped vomiting. However, his eyes seem to have eye infection and he's on antibiotic eyedrop instead as worried there might be scars on his eyes.

He should be able to be discharged today and starts a twice a day insulin injection. He will need to go back to ARVC again 4-5 days later for a check, and under 24hours monitor hospitalization for a day around 1 weeks later. Was advised not to let him mix with other dogs till he has done his vaccination.

I have not been told on the actual amount to be paid on his discharge which is today...

Current Bills:
Animal Practice - S$85.50 on 13 June - vomiting (given metomide and baytril injection, and put on antibiotic and anti vomiting med)
Animal Practice - S$250 on 15 June - done blood and urine test
ARVC - S$300 deposit on hospitalization
Transportation - S$50 (around) - booking on cab and traveling to and fro from vet.

For his hospitalization, Dr Loon has estimated for 400-500 for the first day and subsequent 100+ for the 2nd. And we still need to add in blood test and other medical test or aid given in this period. Also, his insulin after he has been discharged. Help is urgently needed as the bill would need to be pay upon discharged, which is today.

Urgent help needed for a sweet mongrel

Other information: Found him along the main near Potong Pasir last weekend. He looks lost and without any collar. He looks dirty and hungry and he followed me around. I brought him home to bathe him and feed him while looking around for any lost dog notice and he is probably a stray as he does not seems well maintained.

As I am moving back to Hong Kong soon, I am unable to foster him while looking for suitable adopter. At the same time, neighbours start complaining as they are not dog-friendly people.

Some observation in the past few days, he seems to be drinking lots of water and urinates a lot. He is eating, but vomiting. He needs to visit the vet quite urgently.

I sincerely seek help for this lovely boy urgently. And I would very much need experience rescuer to help me out.

Brought BiBi to see the vet at Animal Practice on Sunday as his condition is getting worst day by day and cannot wait any longer. As per Vet’s suggestion, did a blood test and urine test and found out that he is down with diabetes. The vet advised to put him on, the clinic does not have the stock at the moment. She suggested bringing him to Mt Pleasant Hospital as most probably they would have insulin. I brought him home while waiting for them to re-stock.

And yesterday, BiBi still does not have the appetite and he vomited out all the small amount of food that he has eaten. Called Mt Pleasant and ARC, and brought him as walk-in to ARC in the evening as he is getting weaker and thinner.

He is now hospitalised due to his condition. Despite his condition and all the travelling & testing, he is tame and the look in his eyes can tell that he wants to live. Sincerely urge all forms of help for this little boy to continue to live.

Urgent needs help on his medical bills and advise on his diet and care is urgently needed as I am unable to pay for his medical bills (which mounts up to around $900 now and he's currently hospitalized) as well as boarding fee.

Please help this little boy.

Heartless Owner moves and abandon dog at coffeeshop

A friend who message me told me this. Though in my heart, I curse and swear at the dog owner, but that doesnt help much. Rather than being angry, I put up this poor Bobby's plight. I hope a suitable home for Bobby soon. Someone who he can trust and put his faithfulness on. I am glad a fosterer is there to help out for 2 months and Bobby will go for sterilisation. In the meantime, Please help Bobby find a new home.

"This heartless owner shifted out of the place and dumps the dog at a nearby kopitiam. And this poor dog has made the kopitiam his temporary home.

Went to the kopitiam and saw this dog. The dog has been residing at the kopitiam for 1-2weeks already. Happen to know the plight of this dog from an elderly uncle who frequents the kopitiam and he was the one who has been feeding the dog ever since he saw him at the kopitiam.

Although there's no major problem now, but I have heard the uncle mentioning that some of the pple there has been complaining about the dog being there. There's nothing the uncle can do as he is getting old and is not able to support the dog financially too.

Day by day, we are hoping that no one will complain and AVA will not come for him. However, the dog residing at the estate kopitiam is a temporary solution and we have to eventually find a solution for the dog..

This male dog (we name him bobby, est 2-3yrs old) has got great tempermant, gets along very well with human, loves to play, knows some basic command, out-door trained and he's not very big in size (although still not HDB approved). We believe he might have some corgi blood in him as its physique is very much like a corgi but slightly bigger.

My Birthday Wish!!!

Today is my 30th birthday. I am wondering, what have i done and what happen during these 30yrs of my life?? My 30 yrs of life is full of ups and downs. I miss school days. I miss my very 1st dog I adopted about 13yrs back.

I find that my new chapter now is to give back to the animal society after I seen so much exploitation and abuse going on in the animal world. To help and rescue as much as I can. Though there are limits and friends around me call me crazy. But hey!! To each of their own.

Saving animals is also the same as saving a life. Tell me, don't animals have life as well? Or their lives are worthless?

I am sure there are more to come waiting for me and my rescue group to continue streching out to the animals. Life is never fair to humans same goes to the animals. If only they can choose, they wouldn't want to helpless too.

I urge all to strech out your hands and hearts to them. Do your best you can for them. Hope I will recieve more calls and mails from all the kind souls.

2 mini Poms up for adoption

I came accross 2 beautiful mini pomeranians for adoption. They are healthy and beautiful. I want them to go to good loving homes. Background about these 2 dogs are that they were used by backyard breeders for breeding purposes. After some time, breeders dont want them anymore. So their lives are always in a cage breeding non stop litter after litter.

Such acts are a disgust to me and bring anger to know that such exploitation on innocent dogs are used for monetary gain.

Now I am hoping these 2 dogs will spend their life time in a better deserve loving homes.

Requirements for adopters are as follows: -

1) To sterilise and license them upon adoption.
2) To allow home visitations from rescuer for at least 1 month. This is to ensure us to know that both will be settled down well.
3) HDB / landed / Condo owners are welcome to adopt as they are small dogs and can be approved in any housing.

Been shocked on the footage being shown to me about the killing of animals in Kerala. All these acts are done in front of young kids and tourist. Truly disgusted and anger hits my red point. I attached the link for you all to see. Tell me your feelings.

I have been reading a post by SPCA. I am so angry about the ways the cat killer done to the innocent animals.

What can a small innocent cat do to a human that he or she need to kill it in such inhumane manner?

Not 1 but a few cats were being tortured and killed inhumanely. I hope the killer will be caught soon. Will suggest to Cat Welfare Society to form a group of people to patrol round the area to nab the killer.

Not for the reward sake, but for the sake of preventing the innocent animals being killed.

Such acts are not being tolerated by me.

After reading this news, my anger is on the boiling point.

Paddy needs help!!

I am sincerely pleading for help for Paddy our sweet Mongrel boy. Paddy needs a permenant loving home who he can stay forever. Currently Paddy is being fostered by a very nice lady F. It's unfortunate that F cant foster Paddy for long as she is staying in a HDB flat. All of us hope there will be a loving family can give Paddy a home with a garden to run about.

Paddy is about 1.5yrs old. Sterilised and fully vacinated. Donations for Paddy is also needed for his food till he found a good home.

I am sincerely appealing for some kind donations for our strays. As recently some of them has injuries around their muzzle and according to vet, this could be caused by blow from an object. (Which means, someone could be literally beating up the dogs.) The suspects are most probably from the construction fields nearby.

For their safety, I need to shift them out and put them in temporary shelter. I can say their numbers are down as sterilization programs has been on going. Thanks to some kind donations from supporters and friends.

Currently this appeal of donations are going to be for shelter for 4 strays, which we will shift them out of their current place. Somewhere safe and then they will be put up for adoption after their sterilisation.

Thank you for your enquiries, suggestions and good prayers. Mama Rock reappears at the farm this morning 6plus, after a night of worrying.

Our girl didn't just saunter back to farm after a surprise disappearance or venture into the woods, but was returned by the very person who took her away, after our caregiver pressed the people at the farm for it. She took the pain to call the family every hour last night, combing the farm area, asking around all on her own until midnight, and finally, whoever did it relented after enormous pressure put by our elderly caregiver.

This is not a simple lost/found case, but we believe, foul play. If you remember Sparky, the corgi, Mama Rock's mysterious disappearance and almost calibrated reappearance, bear traces to Sparky's episode.

We have withdrawn all appeal made to the various authorities and organisations. Great thanks to your collective support from far and wide of the island, no matter what.

If you'd extended Mama Rock's appeal elsewhere, would you be so kind to withdraw them as well, please? I apologise for bothering you, but right now, nothing beats the relief of a dog appropriately returned to the place she has called home all this while.

Where street dogs are plentiful and hard to nab for sterilisation, we are always caught between a rock and a hard place, having to hope for the farm people's tolerance towards these dogs and at the same time, doing what's right in the name of justice. One could lodge a complaint about a neighbour's barkish dog, but things at the farm are, well...never so simple.

Dear all,

As of 6plus in the evening, May 12, Mama Rock has gone missing. We suspect she's been deliberately taken away, as she's a very friendly dog and she roamed the community, being the resident dog of the vicinity.

Mama Rock is a five-year old female, sterilised, microchipped (No. 702198100000972) and has some Rottweiler genes. She looks like a smaller Rottweiler, although she is not completely one. Attached are her pictures.

We really hope to find her, as she's been our sweet-natured dog among the many that the caregiver manages. With support from the public, Mama Rock has escaped culling efforts and survived the ill treatment from her previous home, before she was rescued.

Please help circulate this appeal. We appreciate any clue that leads to her location. Thank you.

Beautiful Cocker Spaniel For Adoption.

Beautiful Cocker Spainel is up for adoption. She is 4yrs old. Very pampered and loving nature. Due to her past misfortune she tends to scared of other dogs. But once she knows the dogs well, she will be doing fine.

Coco, was adopted by a family from me 1yr ago. But due to frequent travel to work, she is spending time less with Coco and think that Coco will be better with someone who has regular time with her.

I personally love Coco very much. I hope I can find her a good home that will be forever. Requirements of the adopter are as follows:

1) To sterilise her and license her.
2) Allow home visit from me (Rescuer & Rehomer)
3) Adopter must be staying in Private Apartment Or Landed homes. As Cocker Spaniel is not allowed in HDB

Been asking around for old stuffs to add on to our flea market. It seems like old things are always precious to people. They rather keep than sharing it out for us to save these strays.

I hope more words to pass around. So that our flea market will be organised soon and be a successful one. The strays future are bleak if they still lurk around in danger.

Been reading a friend's post. She is also a rescue volunteer who does alot for the strays as well. Her new post really caught me by alarm and deep in my head, I been thinking whether I can do something for all these dogs to help ease my friends burden. I leave it to your comments and advice.

back home to one of our pack of dogs, Little Anne, Big Ben and all, there has been some issues going back and forth with the people at the farm and the authorities.

Our dogs have been abused by the workers there repeatedly. Rocks thrown. Whacked by long sticks. The problem is with some workers there who are fearful of dogs and their instinctive fear spark off an instinctive reaction from the dogs who are simply just a superbly friendly bunch.

But dogs, all animals, they are very sharp at sensing their environments and the vibes around them. They sense your fear, your anger, your meanness, threats. Conversely, they sense your good will and welcoming stance. Unfortunately, the dogs and some of the workers there just could not get along and to ward off their fear, the workers resort to hitting the dogs to keep them at bay.

Little Anne has been limping since.

Recently, the authorities have been complained to by some people from the farm and they have been down to the farm a few times now to attempt to round up the dogs and cull them. Even though they are ALL sterilised by public funds. After negotiation, we are given time to move them all out of the farm, presumably by end of April.

But again, the dog catchers went down yesterday to catch and kill the dogs...

The pack now faces dangers from both the workers who abuse them and the authories who just wants to get rid of them.

I guess we do not have much choice. For the sole purpose of their safety, we may have to arrange to relocate all 8 of them to a shelter. We will have to consider this carefully for the longterm financial commitment for this pack.

This is just another case to depict the stories of our street dogs whom many of you have not even seen. But they are out there. And their right to a free life is thwarted by many factors beyond their control. Unfortunately. It is easy to destroy something you do not know.

We have to seriously either look for good homes for some of them or relocate all of them to a safe shelter. Contact us if there is a good home for them or you would like to assist us in any way in relocating this pack.

The ones the authorities are out to destroy - Little Anne, Big Ben, Jordan, Jamie, Jonah. (on their trips to the vet to be sterilised)

When I look at their photos now, remembering from where I am now in NZ - their natural exuding honest joy at seeing you ... their carefree days that many humans know not off in our relentless rat race in a concrete world ... their loyalty and family bond that could put ours to shame sometimes ... their faith in you that you would keep them safe.

Or maybe, at the end of it all, they are the ones who have been keeping us safe. Safe from getting lost in a world of cheap materialism, transient loyalty and diluted integrity. They always keep me grounded to the trueness of life -- seen so often, so well-lived out -- on the streets.

Let us keep them safe.

Flea market to help set up the shelter.

Currently, as our animals are getting more in help needed, we intend to have our very own shelter.

Funds are limited. We now plan for a mini flea market to raised funds and donations. If you have any old stuffs for us also, if you have friends who can contribute donations or old stuffs for our flea market, do call us and contact us. Support needed for some strays

Recently, I discovered the strays are multiplying, and a few are dying due to fast moving trucks and vehicles. Its a sad sight. Right now, am collecting some funds to sterilise some of the female dogs to cut down the multiplying.

GONG XI FA CAI to everyone who has been of great help to us and the animals. I hope this year will be a great year for you all as blessings flows continuously for you.

Let this Rat year be a blessing to all the animals too and hope more kind hearted people will join us is our job as foster parents, adoptive parents and financially adoptive parents to our less fortunate animals.

I have been planning to draw up a plan for financially adoptive parents for those hard to rehome animals. As they need long term care and concern with us for some of those may not be of rehome catergory. So being a financial adoptive parent, not only you can give support to the animals and you can paid them a visit at your own free time to play with them. So you no need to worry about not having time to keep a pet.

I hope this plan will work so that we do not need constant begging of help from others.

Following up, plans to set up a shelter will be on the way. Now in the midst of discussion with other volunteers how we can do it. This enable us to house the homeless dogs and cats under the same roof so that we no need to travel to different places to visit foster parents for latest updates.

I hope once this plan is up I can get more support and help to fulfil the dreams of these homeless animals.

Let us keep constant prayers to achieve this plan to work.

Save this puppy from poisoning.

Everyday, these dogs are facing the dangers of being captured or poisoned ... (by who we are not certain). We have talked to the officers requesting them to direct all the dog complaints to us so that we can help to solve the root cause instead of asking ...... to poison them. However, there of no avail! Recently, a batch of dogs were poisoned again! We are very disheartened to know our friends were dead! We brought Happy to JT as she was breathing very hard. Unfortunately, she did not survive the turmoil! Now, we are scared that ...... will come again to place poison food ........ and have alerted the workers to keep a lookout. Unfortunately, these people come only around evening time when the workers knocked off.

There is a particular non-suspecting puppy near the entrance ........ that I would like to call to your help to rehome, if possible. She is such a wonderful female puppy! I have already dewormed her and I'm afraid of her safety if she is going to stay there long for .... to find her. She can be easily captured as she welcome anybody with a wagging tail! If there is a loving home that is willing to accept her, I will get her vaccinated too and happy that life does make a difference to this sweet girl."

Xander is putting on weight.

Our rescue Mini Bull Terrier is putting on weight. Thanks to kind donations of food. But his medical help for his fungus nails which requires surgery is still not met our target yet. Pls help us to get Xander to the vet. In the meantime, I would like to thank some kind help to us to help Xander.

Pearly Need Help !!

Pearly is a 8yrs old Chihuahua. Been abandon in our house and since then for the past 2yrs is under my care. I have difficulty rehoming her as she is already quite old and she has a snappy temper. She lost trust to humans as what I understand previously from the last adopter is that she was badly abuse. But nonetheless, we have shown her love and paitience towards her.

Recently Pearly is having hemotamia. A condition whereby her ear is puff up due to blood clot in the ear. This conditions usually caused by over excessive scratching of the ear or shaking of the ear too hard.

Due to her age, a surgery done will require a special kind of anethesia gas called Insuflorine. Safe enough for her to wake up the moment the gas is turn off.

A surgery estimated cost about $350-$400 is needed. Please help Pearly to have a better golden year with us since she is not of rehome category. Help her to remove the blood clot in her ears.

As I start this post and updates of dogs in distress, you must be wondering who am I.

I am nobody who has a soft spot and kind heart towards animals. I live simply and do whatever I can to help those dogs in distress.

Recently, questions that I have been asking myself. What if no one support me in this work? Who shall I turn to? Will I be called a crazy woman? Well it all comes from individual minds.

After all these years of working along with animals, it brings me to one conclusion, continue to save and protect. As these helpless animals always being exploited and abuse.

The Mini Bull Terrier we found

Sad but true. We found Xander. Brought him to the vet to certify it with microchip. Too bad I dont have the adopter address. Or else I will make sure he pay for what he has done to Xander.

Xander is a Mini Bull Terrier. Cute lovely attention seeking boy. Found him at West Coast market. Frail and thin, skin problems and hardly standing. From what I know, Xander adopter is staying in Holland Rd area. How can he turn up in West Coast? 1st thing on my mind is he could have been sent there by car and dump him.

I get a good friend of mine, also a stray feeder staying in East Coast L to help me take care of him 1st. We pump him up with cook food of brown rice and cook beef and veges. A kind donation of 2 months supply of Tmberwolf kibbles from a great person K.

Xander is in very bad condition.

1st vist the vet Dr H says that there are nail fungus on Xander's nails. A surgery needed to pull out the affected nails or it will further cause infection and bad smell. His skin condition has been worsen with ticks and mites. Vet estimated cost which includes surgery and treatment about $700. We now need financial support to send Xander to the vet.
